Program Description

Our 12 week program is designed to initiate weight loss and to teach healthy habits and lifestyle changes for lifelong health and fitness

WEEKS 1 – 3

• Participants are weighed and measured on Day 1 & a reasonable weight loss goal will
be determined. Participants will run ½ mile so that an aerobic baseline is established.
Stength will be determined by performing as many push-ups as they can in a 30
seconds. Starting photos of each participant will be taken and added to the website.
• They will take two BootCamp Youth classes per week and have two semi-private
sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer per week.

• The Saturday of Week 2 will include a mandatory seminar on Nutrition and Menu Planning.
Parents of participants are strongly encouraged to attend.
• The focus of workouts during weeks 1 – 3 is on building a cardiovascular base and
safely starting an exercise program to avoid injury and/or burnout.

WEEKS 4 – 7
• Participants are weighed and measured on Day 1 of week 4. The ½ mile run and
push-ups will also be performed. Progress will be noted and goals adjusted
accordingly.
• They will take two BootCamp Youth classes per week and have two semi-private
sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer per week.
• The Saturday of Week 4 will include a mandatory seminar covering the Medical
Research of Health in Children/Teens. Parents of participants are strongly encouraged
to attend.
• The focus of workouts during weeks 4 – 7 is on continuing to build cardiovascular
strength while adding weight bearing moves and adding more interactive / partner
workouts among the group.

WEEKS 8 – 11

• Participants are weighed and measured on Day 1 of week 8. Progress will be noted
and goals adjusted accordingly.
• They will take two BootCamp Youth classes per week and have two semi-private
sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer per week.
• The Saturday of Week 8 will include a mandatory seminar on Maintaining Weight Loss
and Lifelong Healthy Habits. Parents of participants are strongly encouraged to attend.
• The focus of workouts during weeks 8 – 11 is on making necessary adjustments to
attain the goals of weight loss for each individual child. Workouts will increase in
difficulty.

WEEK 12

• Participants are weighed and measured on Day 4 of week 12. The ½ mile run and
push-ups will also be performed. Photos of each participant will be taken at their new
weight and added to the website.
